Jet Takayama is a mixed Asian-American multi-disciplinary artist and astrologer living on Lenape land, also known as Philadelphia.

Jet was born in South Carolina and raised near the Congaree River amongst flowers and birdsong. They spent most of their childhood outdoors sitting in trees and barefoot in the grass, both of which instilled a deep love for the natural world and the beings that live in it. They grew up surrounded by their great grandfather's vivid landscape paintings and started daydreaming and drawing at a young age. Their work echoes these influences, combining depictions of flora and fauna with fantasy and myth.

Jet hails from recent Japanese, Celtic, Germanic, and Mediterranean ancestors and from more distant ancestors across Eurasia. They have practiced divination for over 10 years and belong to a long line of witches, seers, druids, priestesses, and other workers of the divine and the sacred. They aim to make work that reminds us that there is always a little bit of wild magic left to be found.
